ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS IN ONLINE/INTERNET-DELIVERED COURSES:

This semester: ENG 103 INT (Internet)

ATTENTION -- BOTH Traditional AND Online Students)
Logging in to the EdNet system for the first time:
  1. go to the web gateway for EdNet: http://ednet.rvc.cc.il.us
  2. first time log-in ID = your student ID #. NOTE: You may need to type an asterisk after your student ID #. Try it first without, then with asterisk - - if the first method fails.
  3. initial password = your date of birth as a six digit number YearMonthDay (example: 010189 for Jan. 1, 1989)
  4. NOTE: It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you download the client software (FirstClass) for EdNet and that you NOT go through the web gateway -- lots of trouble with AOL and other front end gateways to the web conflicting with EdNet (very slow and ineffective)

(ONLINE STUDENTS) -- Finding your course conference folder: From your EdNet Desktop:
Go through these folders: CONFERENCES>CLASSES > Then find your section. It will likely have my name "Coffman" and the section number(s) associated with it. Be sure you access the correct conference folder for your section, since I have two this term. [NOTE: It is also a very good idea to put your course conference folder on your EdNet Desktop. Do this by selecting your section from the menu of courses and then clicking the "Add to Desktop" icon button at the top of the window.]
